Raid Cards
90 cards in the deck · 6 v 6 · first to 0 life loses
How to play
- You both start with 240 life and 6 cards. Both pick an opening card face down, then dice decide who goes first. Each turn: draw one, play one card.
- Every card has Attack, Armor and Health. Armor comes off every hit it takes (spells ignore it).
- Attack mode: it can attack and hits back when attacked. Defense mode: it can't attack, its Armor counts double, and a Tank in Defense mode has Taunt: it protects you from attacks and may step in for attacks on your other cards.
- The badge in the top corner shows the role: shield for Tank, cross for Healer, sword for DPS. Healers can heal cards or you.
- New cards wait a turn before attacking (Warriors have Charge). Each card can attack or use its ability once a turn.
- Abilities cost the card's own resource, shown as a bar on the card: Rage (warriors, bear druids) fills when it hits or is hit, Energy (rogues, cat druids) refills fast, Mana (everyone else) starts full and refills slowly. Abilities scale off the card's attack and ignore armor.
- Attacks can miss (5%) or crit for 1.5× (DPS 10%, others 5%). Healers' heals can crit too.
- Healers sit on the back line: while you have another card out, enemy attacks can't reach them and abilities hit them for 75%. Healing draws aggro: a healer that heals is off the back line until your next turn.
- Your Bloodlust meter fills as you take damage and lose cards. At 10, call Bloodlust: your cards get +20 attack this turn.
- Trinkets are buff cards you put on one of your cards. They stay until it dies; some have a once-per-game Use that doesn't cost an action.
- Buff, effect and trap cards are shuffled in too. Each turn you can play one raider and one of these. Traps and auras go in the two effect slots at the left of your lane; traps stay hidden until they spring.
- Every card has a class ability, its own signature, and some cards make combos together. Click any card to read it.
